These terms apply when you convert audio using a licensed voice from the NiceVois voice library. They add to the Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy, which still apply in full. Each voice also carries its owner's own conditions, shown with that voice; those conditions apply in addition to everything here.
What a licensed voice is
A voice model NiceVois uses with the documented permission of the person or studio that owns that voice. Some are trained by NiceVois from recordings the owner supplied; some are the owner's own released model, used unmodified. NiceVois keeps the model on its servers. You convert your own audio and receive the result. Licensed voices are never downloadable and cannot be exported as .pth, .index or any other model file.
What you may do
Convert singing or speech that you have the right to use, and keep, share or publish the result. Commercial use is allowed only where the voice you selected says so. Where a voice does not state that commercial use is allowed, treat the result as non-commercial.
What you must do
Credit the voice wherever you publish the result, using the exact credit shown with that voice. Some owners require the credit on the published audio itself or in its description; the voice tells you which. Label vocals as AI-generated where a platform, a contract or the law requires it. Hold the rights to the music you convert and publish: a licensed voice licenses the voice, never the song.
What you may not do
Do not present the audio as a real performance, statement or endorsement by the voice owner or by anyone else. Do not impersonate a person. Do not use a licensed voice for fraud, scams, harassment, threats, non-consensual sexual content, any sexual content involving minors, hate, or election manipulation. Do not extract, copy, re-record or train another model from a licensed voice or from its outputs. Individual voices ban further uses of their own; those bans are shown with the voice and are part of these terms.
Each voice sets its own conditions
Voice owners set different conditions, and NiceVois passes them on exactly. Before you convert with a voice for the first time, its conditions are shown to you and you accept them. Conditions can include the required credit wording, whether commercial use is allowed, extra banned uses, and a link to the owner's own terms. The voices currently in the library are credited as follows:
- AI Singer 御丹宮くるみ — credit AI Singer 御丹宮くるみ（御丹宮くるみ歌声データベース）, onikuru.info.
- AIみな〜ぎ — credit AIみな〜ぎ（CV 花夜みなぎ）, RAINBOW WAVE. Commercial use by customers is allowed.
- つくよみちゃん — the official Tsukuyomi-chan RVC model (CV. 夢前黎), used unmodified. Credit on published audio: 声質変換：つくよみちゃん公式RVCモデル. Source and its own terms: tyc.rei-yumesaki.net. This voice may not be used to campaign for or against a political position or religion, to criticise or attack real people, organisations or products, or to infringe anyone's rights. You can also download this official model free from its official site and use it yourself — you are never charged for the voice itself.
What you pay for
You are never charged for a licensed voice. Converting with a licensed voice costs exactly what any other conversion costs: your free conversion allowance first, then your plan. The charge is for the conversion service NiceVois runs, never for the voice.
Withdrawal
A voice owner may withdraw their voice at any time. It then leaves the library and the converter, and no new conversions can be made with it. Audio you made before the withdrawal stays usable under the terms you accepted when you made it.
Reporting misuse
Email info@nicevois.com. Access and files may be suspended while a report is reviewed. Voice owners may report misuse of their own voice the same way.
Changes
If a change affects what you may do with a voice, you are asked to accept again before your next conversion with a licensed voice.
