Common questions
Is auto trim silence free?
Yes. Free forever, with unlimited use and no daily minute allowance. No account or subscription needed.
Does my audio get uploaded?
No. Trimming happens in your browser. Audio only leaves the browser if you choose to send it to a tool that uploads it.
What can I upload and download?
Use WAV, MP3, FLAC, M4A or OGG files your browser can open. Add up to 20 files to a one-hour timeline. Downloads are mono WAV; use the format converter for MP3 or another format. Long recordings need a desktop browser with enough memory.
Can I make adjustments?
Yes. Listen back, use Undo to restore the previous edit, or drag across the waveform and press Delete to trim a selection yourself.
